FROSTFREAKINBITE
Using my dad's laptop now in Madrid and it's really late and I'm feeling kinda sleepy but it's nice to be able to finally get to use the internet. We just arrived here today from Barcelona and there were a few issues with the flight tickets or something and I was genuinely worried but luckily it all got settled after a while.
It's been really great so far except that it's really bloody freakin cold here. Yes I remember saying that winter would be awesome but I'm starting to appreciate S'pore's weather. A little. The walking has also been incredibly tiring but it was very much worth it because we managed to see a lot. I brought the random-pics camera along so I'll upload all the pictures and make an album online as soon as we get home.
The room in Madrid is way better than the one we got in Barcelona [which was actually an apartment]. The only redeeming feature about it was that it had stairs and we could stand on the rooftop. And that it had a microwave so we could buy frozen budget dinners for...dinner. The room that I'm in now is much brighter and the deco is pretty wicked though the shower is kinda puny as compared to the other one which I should add was incredibly clean and I love clean bathtubs.
Bought lots of souvenirs from Barcelona especially my brother who's mad on getting his soccer collection [scarfs from FC Barcelona and Real Madrid even though he doesn't support them] and splurging on souvenirs for his close 7 guy and 5 girl-friends+ the whole class. I'm planning on making some cute goodie bag thingies [with souvenirs inside of course] for some people as thank you gifts which they definitely deserve. [Though they[the gifts] may not be too fancy since there are budgets]. Sucks.
Hot soup is a blessing around here right now. Anyway, enough crapping. I forgot to mention when I'll be back...which is on the 17th [next wednesday] in case anyone was actually ...wondering.
So yes, it's still really cold and I don't think the heater is working...but nevermind. Bye for now then.
