PWEETY
Listening to Viva la Vida by Coldplay now. My brother's the real coldplay fan but the title and cover art really attracted me since I found out that there's a painting [not the one on the cover] by Frida Kahlo by that name. Boring you, haha. But I like her.And I finally bought my electric guitar with Wen on friday. I really don't deserve it at all since I'm the noobest person ever. Oh well, no harm having a shiny, pretty guitar :)
We got Les Paul SHAPED guitars because of a certain influence [HAHA]...She wanted the white one, but because I'm such a selfish, evil snobhead I wanted the white one too and she got the black one in the end since there was only one white one left. Trust me, I'll repay you with a great birthday gift.
Then we went to buy stands and an amplifier each and walked around looking really silly. The damage almost exeeded $450 but thankfully it didn't.
The electric and acoustic look really cute together on the stand. Like brother and sister haha. And I really have A LOT to learn in terms of playing [I'm still making "noise"] and MAINTENENCE. I've only just learnt tuning and there's all the knobs, which of the pickups they control and blahblahblah. Not to mention all the dials on the amp. It's gonna take a while...
I love this album. Wow, and on first listen. We Started Nothing by the Ting Tings isn't too bad either.
