HMVVV

Woke up really drowsy-ish today, probably cuz I slept extremely late. Yesterday was quite a blast.

It was the first time Wen and I went to the HMV branch in the Heeren [I had only been to the one in citylink] and when we went up the escalator we were quite disappointed since it looked extremely small. But to our huge shock, it was really quite big, and when we walked further in, we saw escalators. The HMV store was three levels high! [I bet I sound lame to those who've been there before]

I almost went nuts. 3 Levels of music. I really couldn't believe it. And it was the first place that I have ever seen to stock singles and rocksound magazines [I didn't even know they were available in Singapore!]. I'm probably over with Borders, Sembawang, That CD shop and maybe even Gramophone. OVER. Gosh. I love HMV.

I bought Dusk and Summer by Dashboard Confessional and Light Grenades by Incubus [yah stupid cuz they just left] after I got some songs from Colleen by them. I read on wiki that there are 2 hidden tracks on Dusk and Summer, and the only way to hear them is to rewind the first song. It's un-rewindable on the com, but I could finally get the songs when I rewound them on my stereo at home. The really, really sad thing is that...

I don't know how to rip them to my com.

Since they are hidden tracks, the com can't read them. I downloaded this software called EAC and it can detect the pregap of 9 minutes in the first song, but when I copy out the range, instead of getting 2 songs, I get 9 minutes of dead silence.

Sigh. I really don't know how to handle all this tech stuff. I wish they didn't have them as hidden tracks. Yeah, it's really cool, but it's not cool at all when you have to rewind everytime you want to hear them.

Bleh. I wanna go to HMV again. I hate rotting at home.
