WHACK

Gahgahgah. I'm almost partially deaf. My left ear hurts and everything I hear is slightly muffled, as if I am putting on headphones without listening to music, so everything outside is less clear. It is probably cuz my ear was verrry blocked, and trying to put the ear drop probably just made things worse. I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow to see what he can do. Times like these just make me appreciate doctors more and more, as well as my sense of hearing. Like what they say on the gramophone plastic bag, "without music, life would be a mistake." Speaking of music, I managed to catch the top 100 hits of 2007 today. They showed no.100 to 81, and they'll show the rest in the following Saturdays, if I'm not wrong. I felt quite irritated because of the 'muffle-ness' [I still am] while watching the videos but trying to dig my ear out is seriously not going to help so I just had to laugh and deal with it.

Since I'm being really random here, [damn I really hate that word since everyone tosses it around in blogskins...what's a better word...ok I know] Since I'm being really...desultory here, and after I've read Meiqi's post about her bizarre dream, I decided to share 2 weird dreams that I've had recently...

I had one dream the night before the last and I was in a classroom, sitting at the front row, but not in the St. Nicks classroom. It was another weird classroom. Zhang Lao Shi was standing in front of me, and giving out some chinese test paper. The funny thing was that even though it was Zhang Lao Shi from St. Nicks, my classmates were from my P6 class. I forgot who I was sitting with though. She gave special mention to the people who did well, and when I got my paper back, there was this huge 100 on it, followed by a '-20' in a circle with a sobbing face next to it [??], and finally a really giant 80. Almost before we were dismissed, Zhang Lao Shi handed me a cylindrical tin. I opened it and I felt everyone looking at me. It was pretty freaky. In that really weird tin, was a whole mess with slips of paper crushed inside, but I found something that made me gasp. It was this pile of MONEY roled up. I flipped open the first few pieces and they were all $60 notes. There is obviously no such thing as a $60 note so we can be sure this was a dream. I went nuts because this was not just one note, but a whole PILE of cash. I quickly stuffed the money back into the box. Zhang Lao Shi was gone [go figure] and everyone was staring at me like savage beasts. It was recess time [l.o.l.] so the person that I was sitting with, someone from 1Purity [how did she get there? I'm not gonna say who it is...]went with me for recess. On the way to the canteen everyone was trying to steal the tin away from me and I got really flustered and mad. Someone [also from 1 Purity but I'm not telling who] tried to snatch it away from me and I saw her trying to run off with my tin. I got really pissed and I remember chasing after her and forcefully pulling it out of her hands. That would have been pretty impossible in real life. Actually, everything in this dream is. The dream is a little longer and I'd take forever to explain it so I'll stop here.

My other dream is pretty silly. Probably after watching the Muse DVD a million times. I think I had it quite recently. I found myself sitting in this dingy lecture-hall-auditorium place and there were office-like adults sitting in the seats, so I was pretty much the only kid there. The even more silly thing was that I saw Muse performing in that boring little auditorium. There were the guitars, drums and of course the people. I started going woooo and screaming, and all the adults shot looks of disgust and disapproval at me. It was really funny. Then all of a sudden they stopped playing and Matt Bellamy was carrying this whole stack of CDs and started throwing them at all of us. The CDs were like these little spells. In real life, most of us would have been knocked unconsious or bleeding by flying CDs smacking our faces, but in this dream, everyone magically caught one piece. As soon as any of the office people came in contact with a CD they transformed into rocker-like people and started screaming and cheering. I caught a CD myself and I read the small text to see when it was released and the year was 2008. I do remember telling myself that it was still 2007...After that when everyone had magically turned into screaming fans, the whole auditorium became a whole stadium-like hall with the lights and sound system. It just turned into a full-blown concert. I'm not sure what happened next though. Come to think of it, this dream could be a pretty cool music video. Ha...

Wow. From a post about my cute little partially deaf blocked ear to money and concert dreams. Desultory. Cute word.
