I don't have much to talk about, really, but the first two lessons were awesome! It was extremely fun and we went straight to using the electric guitar, and I found that it was so much easier to play than the acoustic guitar. I always thought that acoustic was easier than electric but I guess I was wrong. The only down side is that the electric guitar is really really heavy and you need to plug it to an amp. But other than that, electric's much better. I've finally learned how to make sense of TABs, and after trying to play some songs, I respect guitarists even more because it was harder than I expected even with some practice. Still, it's always a joy when I finally get the hang of something. Jake sent me a software called Power Tab editor, and I got a heap load of fun downloading the power tabs and playing all my favourite songs on it. Now if only I could play them on the guitar...
