KL

Typing in Starbucks now. My brother ordered a huge frap and I had a few tastes and ended up drinking a LOT. This is the first time I've ever tasted coffee, and I feel pretty bad about breaking my rules. [The teeth-staining didn't really appeal to me] My trip in KL has been quite a blast in terms of shopping. Now I know what 'shop till you drop' really means. The hotel rooms are quite big too. We got separate rooms because there wasn't any four-person suite available, so my parents are sharing one room while my brother and I are sharing the other. We're leaving KL tomorrow so it's going to be the last day we can splurge. The money I've spent here is really WOW. This is how I compensate for my lack of shopping in Singapore for the past whole year, I guess. We've also bought several CDs. I bought a Muse CD from Borders in Times Square, which also happens to be the biggest Borders in the world! Now why isn't it in Singapore? We also went to Pavilion to do some shopping. We went to an Apple store and I fell in love with the new Ipod nano. [I'm beginning the countdown.] The weight of my luggage is going to be doubled. I'm anticipating the time where I get home and uncover the spoils! Going to places like KL to shop is a far better experience than shopping in Paris or London. Our shopping in Paris was cut to a minimal since everything was so expensive and so I only bought a few outfits. In KL, they mock the Singaporeans by calling us chickens, going "cheap! cheap! cheap!" [Which is pretty much what I've been doing...exchange rate!!] Sighs. It's sad that we're going home soon, however, my holiday activities are definitely far from over.
