WHATISTHIS

I smell burning. Probably from the BBQ-ers downstairs. I can't even sit up straight now, cuz I stuffed myself full in Marche at Vivo City with my cousins and their little kids. Marche is really great and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The milkshake is thick and sweet, the soup is brilliant, the Rosti is gorgeous and the ice cream is swimming in money bags if you know what I mean. I like the whole card system too. For those who haven't gone there, each person is issued a special Marche card and you have to charge all the money to it, and at the end of your meal, they scan it and you pay. So it's like a cute 'super market', except that everything is EX, there are tables and you eat everything there. I read on the back of the card that if you were to lose it, you would have to pay a fine of $100, and my cousin joked that everyone could just charge everything they bought to that card [which will defintely amount to over $100 cuz there were 6 of us] and then scrap it in the end to get a discount. What an awesome plan.
My mom is coming back to S'pore today. My dad's coming back much later. I was actually beginning to enjoy the whole no parent-supervision thing...I remember once in P5 the both of them left and I missed them all of a sudden and cried all night, therefore not studying that bloody ting xie at all which resulted in a 34/100 which lead to an embarrassing scolding from the teacher. Wow. How much I've grown! But I still want my parents around nonetheless.
Yesterday night and today was/is a little scary cuz I felt a dull and slight pain on the left side of my chest where everyone knows the drummer is. I was worried sick and still am. I don't know when it will go away and I'm still praying that it will sooner. I called my mom through the phone and she's going to bring me to a doctor tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
I've recently gotten hooked on The Great Escape by Boys Like Girls and Built To Last by Melee. They shall be the next two songs on my playlist. Damn I really want another Ipod. Do I sound too whiny and materialistic? It's not in my nature to want expensive stuff like this, but it is really really frustrating when I have to keep deleting old songs to include new ones cuz the space is just too damn small. My parents have this token system with me. i.e. I do/get something good like good results and stuff and I get one "token" that I can redeem anytime, even as long as a few years from now. But you should know that their tokens are not so huge [compared to some other parents. ohyes. I know how they can splurge on their kids]. E.g. they just got me the SOFTSTUPIDSOFTSOFT cover version of New Moon and a sucky $15 for my term 2 results. I was still okay with New Moon [after it's only the story that counts right?] but as for the $15, huge, fussed, hissy fit is an understatement. So as you see, getting another Ipod is going to be a challenge, cuz an Ipod is definitely worth more than 15 bucks. As for my other tokens, it was a CD and $40 bucks book voucher from my dad [that's why I've been book-hunting]. Nowhere near what some other kids get...
Anyway, I read on the twilight lexicon that the Twilight series [all three books] have knocked the Harry Potter series [all seven of em] off Number One on the New York Times Bestseller list. And it is the FASTEST book to do this. Three cheers for the series! One for each book! And I'm so sorry for HP. Ahwell. You get some you lose some.
Also, [boy this post is irritating!] I read that there will be a comic strip called Mutts [that I don't see on our paper seeing that I read the comic section everyday in the morning DAMN]that will be featuring a week long Twilight inspired comic strip with a bat named Edward and a Bird named Bella. Too bad we won't get to see it but It'll be posted on a website starting November 5. [By the way I realised that all the letters of "Edward" are all in one corner of the keyboard. It's so funny.]Anyway, I'm sure this comic strip will be a laugh. I can't wait to see it.
Man, life is funny. Yesterday's friends are tommorrow's enemies. What goes around comes around. He should know all about it...You never know how much you hurt the people around you until you've been hurt by others. I've learnt that lesson, and so will he. Suddenly you discover how unfriendly the world can be huh?
I've decided that on the last day of school, if possible, and since I'm leaving, I'll post a "what I'll miss from ___" list, consisting of every single person in 1 Purity, and I mean EVERY SINGLE PERSON. Even through all these ups and downs, I still appreciate every single one of you.
EXTRA.
If you DARE call yourself a fan, you have to vote New Moon for the Teen's Top Ten [even if you disliked the whole middle]! Twilight got 2nd place in 2006. Please make New Moon no. 1 this year!
